Children's Church Sunday Mornings during Worship Service for ages 5-11
Typically, a service in children’s church consists of a Bible lesson on their level.
We usually take prayer requests from the kids-which might be concerning a family member, pet, or just random things like their kiddie pool getting blown away in a storm. That’s the fun of this ministry. We’ll usually do a craft or project that relates to the lesson and “quiz” the kids later to make sure they have retained what they have learned.
Nursery
A safe, loving place where children can experience God’s love in an environment that’s just right for them while parents can enjoy their time in worship.
Annual Vacation Bible School
A week-long adventure geared toward children in preschool through 4th grade. Each night a different lesson is presented. There are crafts, activities, and even snacks that coordinate with the week’s theme. For example, this year the theme was “Fiesta: Where Kids are On Fire for God.” Lessons included topics like “Jesus is Our Friend, Leader, and Savior”. The last night of the adventure, there is a service where children can make the decision to accept Christ into their hearts and lives. This is a great time to show the children that it’s good to go to an altar of prayer and to pray with each other.
